Espionage is done by investigators to obtain confidential or
secret information about an organization or a particular individual. These people use devices such as spy cameras the size of a pen or microphone devices that can listen through solid walls in spying their target. However, there are other more sophisticated devices out there.
There are some companies that manufacture surveillance, security and
intelligence gathering devices for the use of individuals, corporations, and government law enforcement agencies. A good example of a spying device is a microphone bug. You might not need it in ordinary circumstances, but there are companies or government agencies that use it to hear the conversations of a target. Wall bugs or wall microphones are covert devices meaning it is hidden from the target.
Using an earphone, the device is placed against a wall to listen for conversations from the other room. It is very sensitive so it can pick up even the faintest whisper. It can cut out certain noises to make the conversations audible. The use of this device may be prohibited in certain countries so before you avail of it you have to check laws first. Certainly,
spy cameras cannot do that!
